For many corporations, social responsibility and community outreach are woven into the fabric of the company’s culture. It is important for employees and customers to know a company has a social mission, not just a revenue mission.

Doesn’t it make sense that if a people are interested in a company’s social conscious, they’ll be interested in learning more about the company’s core business? Doing good and doing well can live in harmony. In today’s nervous environment making the world a better place matters more than ever in the boardroom.

One of the truly inspiring projects for Elevation Digital Media has been the Western Union Foundation (WUF) global video series. The WUF stories capture the emotion around education as a driving force for a better life. Elevation has traveled to Mexico, Lithuania, South Africa and the Philippines to share the remarkable work by some of the WUF’s extraordinary NGO partners (Enseña por Mexico, Save the Children and SOS Children’s Village).

The piece below features an amazing girl named Boni, who is a shining light for the SOS Children’s Village in Johannesburg.

Elevation has been incredibly moved and honored to be working with the WUF and their NGO partners as they empower those less fortunate with hope for the future.
